Simeon Market is a chef-owned and operated hybrid bakery/deli. The chef, Bob Heck, graduated from Baltimore Culinary College in 1987. He has worked as a chef in California, the Outer banks of North Carolina, and most recently, at Zinc, here in Charlottesville. Chef Bob focuses on "New American" cuisine, which he describes as, "foods that are as fresh as possible. From the farm to the table, prepared as simply as possible to allow the indgredients to speak for themselves."

2011 October Virginia Wine Month
The Governor of Virginia proclaims October as “Virginia Wine Month.” These participating trade partners (restaurants and retailers) have agreed to heavily promote Virginia wines during the month of October.
