Description: Yoga at the Vineyard – Beginning September 14th Starting this September we will be offering yoga classes to be held near the beautiful green tranquility of Narmada’s gorgeous vineyard. Do something good for yourself. Combine relaxation techniques, stress relief, and healthful exercise with some of the most picturesque scenery in Virginia. The first class, which is free, will be held on Tuesday, September 14th from 8:30am – 9:45pm instead of September 7th as originally announced, followed by three more classes on consecutive Tuesday mornings. The class will be taught by Rappahannock resident, Nazli P. Weiss, originally from India. She has been an Iyengar yoga practitioner for 14 years. Nazli is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT), as well as a Restorative yoga teacher and currently teaches in Charlottesville, Warrenton, and Bethesda, MD. September session is from September 14 – 28. Description: It's time to Woloomooloo. That's right, Mountfair's most decorated wine (Monticello and Governors Cup Gold) returns with the stunning 2008 vintage. As in year's past, it's mostly Petit Verdot, -- this year blended with Merlot (30%) and Cabernet Franc (10%). A long, hot, 2008 summer yielded exceptional fruit with big sugars and great balance -- and this Petit Verdot may be the richest we've harvested. The blend is a dark, brooding affair with a medley of violet hues, rich berry flavors and ends with a big long finish. Great with a grilled meat dish or try with football game chili.
Honoring a long standing tradition, we'll celebrate Fritz's latest concoction with The Wooloomooloo Release Party -- Saturday September 25th @ 3PM.
