About Barrel Oak Winery
RELAX and DISCOVER our new destination winery on I-66, one hour west of downtown DC and a world away. Enjoy great vintages and sweeping historic vistas. Explore the hand-built winery & underground cellars & catch the sunset from our huge inviting stone patio.
Hours of Operation
Open daily 11am-6pm. Open Fridays and most Saturdays till 9pm inside or outside on the patio! Hang with your friends, dogs (on leashes, please) and family and watch our awesome sunsets after work. Great wine and lite fare served or bring your own picnic lunch or dinner anytime. Children are welcome and we have juice boxes for the kids!

This wine is designed to highlight the beautiful notes of apricots and citrus found in the Chardonnay grape when fermented in neutral environments. Balanced and bright, it will awaken your palette.

100% Chardonnay with hints of peach, pear and vanilla. Aged Sur-lie in new French Barrels. Full Malolactic fermentation provides a nice buttery finish.

Viognier Reserve
A smooth palate with flavors of tropical fruits including peach, guava, orange, kiwi, and passion fruit. This delicious wine finishes with a light hint of cream and butter and has undergone a partial malolactic fermentation. Fermented and aged in a combination of neutral and new Hungarian and French oak.
