About Castle Hill Cider
Originally built in 1764, Castle Hill was the home of Colonel Thomas Walker, guardian and mentor to Thomas Jefferson. Castle Hill Cider is now the only cidery in the world fermenting and aging in buried terra cotta amphorae called kvevri. Make history of your own at Keswick’s oldest estate surrounded by beautiful countryside, 28 varieties of apple tree, stunning sunsets and mountain backdrops. This cider has a firm tannin structure and exhibits notes of earthiness, spice and citrus. Blended from Ellis Bitter and Albemarle Pippin apples, Celestial’s bright clean finish is enhanced by a touch of Winesap apples. $17 / bottle

This still cider is amber in color with notes of melon, peach, and light citrus. Gravity’s hint of sweetness on the finish is balanced with good astringency. Blend of Grimes Golden, Pink Lady, Ellis Bitter, Dabinette, Yarlington Mill, and other English bittersweets. Wonderful with Thai food. $17.00 / bottle.

Terrestrial is a brilliantly clear with light color and body and gentle bubbles. An abundance of up front apple and peach is followed by spice on the finish.
