Boutique winery in gorgeous mountainside setting near Old Rag Mountain, White Oak Canyon, and Graves Mountain Lodge. Limited quantity, estate grown wines in a relaxed, fun and intimate environment. Our new tasting room is now open and features decks with great views of mountains, streams and vineyards, floors and tasting bar made from reclaimed lumber from our barns, solar panels to power our operation and local foods to accompany the wines. Sweet Virginee - great with ice cream and creme brullee (if anyone knows how to make that !)

Viognier

Both the dry style Signature Viognier and the off-dry Gibson Hollow White versions have peaches, honeysuckle and wildflowers galore - and pair great with seafood and cheeses.

Red

Cabernet Franc

2009
The 2009 Vintners Reserve CF is a light style and delicately oaked expression of the Cabernet Franc grape - only 100 cases made. We kept several rows of our Cab Franc grapes on the vine for a few extra days before harvesting, seeking added maturity and flavor development - and this is the result.

Meritage Blends

2009
Our Popham Run Red is a Bordeaux blend with spicy black pepper and deep red fruits, named after the stream at the edge of the vineyard. When you're sitting on our patio it's Popham Run that you're hearing and seeing. Ahh.

Norton

2010
It's back! Our new Norton vintage 2010 is being released January 21 (party time). Many have said this is their favorite Norton - earthy and great with dark chocolate PS

Petit Verdot

2009
OMG - this pure varietal is the best wine we have produced to date, with a robustness and gorgeous violet color that is PV at its best. Only 125 cases made. The 'sneak peek' we provided at the February EXPO generated a lot of 'buzz.'

Red Wine Blend

2010 Rose
Our first Rose release - for Valentine's Day 2011 - sold out in 3 months. We "bleed" off some Cabernet Franc juice at pressing and use it for this nice, traditional French style (not too sweet) rose. Think Pink. The new vintage will be released on FEBRUARY 11 (party), and will be featured in our VALENTINE's SUNDAY BRUNCH on February 12 (limited seating; advance reservations required)

Other

2008 C'est Trop
C'est Trop ... it's too much, literally. if you remember from high school French. It's a Port style wine that is simply fabulous. We only made 25 cases of 375 ml bottles as an initial trial, with release in February 2011 and you embraced it (thanks) and it's been sold out for months.... too little, literally, eh? We've increased production and the new vintage will be released in late spring 2012 - watch for the announcement.
