Nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains with breathtaking views, immaculate grounds and distinctive charm, Early Mountain Vineyards blends old world tradition with state of the art technology to produce premium Virginia wines. Our Celebration Hall is the perfect location for weddings and private events.

2007 Wolftown Chardonnay
This steel-tank fermented blend of Chardonnay & Vidal Blanc delivers to your palate a perfect balance of crisp acidity and a round mouthfeel to balance the bright fruity finish. Pair it with shellfish on the grill or in a pasta.

2006 Acorn Hill
This 100% Chardonnay drinks just as a Burgundy-style. It is a good marriage of the acidity with the toasty soft influence of 35% new French oak. Pair with fresh lobster, roast chicken, or a Sunday Brunch omelet.

This classic Riesling is spicy and fruity, with lively acidity, and a memorable finish. Pair it with Thai or Asian-style summer grill dishes.

2007 Sweely Estate
Classic Viognier characteristics has just the right balance of acidity and softness from the 50% of the wine aged in French oak. Pairs well with the sweet and savory blend of spices found in Thai food, and some Indian dishes, such as Chicken Tandoori.

Another steel tank fermented white, this blend of 65% Chardonnay and 35% Vidal Blanc is a semi-sweet wine with a fresh and lovely roundness on the palate, through the finish. Pair this with a spicy fish dish.

2007 Sweely Estate
This is a rich Cabernet Franc with a tinge of Merlot. 35% aged in new French Oak. The acidity and tannin level tells us that you will enjoy this wine for several years to come. Rich short ribs would be a perfect pairing.

2006 '1867'
3 Gold Medals! Our first release of 1867 is a blend of 75% Merlot and 25% Cabernet Franc, aged 12 months in new French Oak. Pairs well with a filet mignon in a rich reduction sauce.

2007 Sweely Estate
Our Merlot has a bit of Malbec, Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc to round out a well-balanced, medium-body wine. 45% was aged in French oak, this wine pairs well with roasted salmon, beef bourguignon (remember to use it in the recipe, too) and summer beef kebobs.

2007 Wolftown Red
This blend of Merlot and Cabernet Franc has been touched by oak, but still has a bright and fruity nose that continues to the palate. A great red for summer picnics and spaghetti Bolognese.
