About General's Ridge Vineyard
Located in the heart of Virginia's Northern Neck (the cradle of our nation), near George Washington's and Robert E. Lee's birthplaces, neigboring the historic town of Kinsale. Also nearby the location of where three wars raged in the early days of our nation. Tasting rooms hours of operation: year round Thursday 12 noon to 5 p.m. Friday 12 p.m. - 7 p.m. Saturday 12 noon to 6 p.m. and Sunday 12 p.m. - 5 p.m. (or by appointment) Directions: From Rt 3 east of Montross, turn onto Rt 203. Then turn left onto Rt 600. Then turn right onto Rt 614 (Weldon's Road) - Continue about 1 1/2 miles to the vineyard gateposts.
