About Hickory Hill Vineyards Winery
First planted in 1984 by Roanoke natives with family ties to the very beginnings of the lake, Hickory Hill Vineyards & Winery celebrates 11 years as a winery and decades of growing wine grapes at Smith Mountain Lake. Along with our popular “Lake series” of wines made in a light & fruity style, we offer vintage estate grown Chardonnay, Vidal Blanc and a consistently award winning Cabernet Sauvignon. Local Merlot and Cabernet Franc round out the selection.
