About Hiddencroft Vineyards
Just a short drive from the winery corridors along Rt. 15 and Rt. 9 in Loudoun County and convenient to Maryland, West Virginia and Pennsylvania wine lovers as well! Hiddencroft Vineyards is situated on 26 secluded acres in Lovettsville, VA. Our tasting room is an 1830’s farmhouse. We hold special music events and tastings in our rustic 1930’s bank-barn during Spring, Summer and Autumn. Our barn is also available for private parties and corporate events. We do not currently host wedding ceremonies and/or receptions. We periodically open our wine production facility for tours and special tasting events. Our tasting house and winery are surrounded by our vineyards, butterfly gardens and orchard. You can sample award winning wines, chat with the winemaker / owners, relax on the tasting house deck, snack on light fare available in our tasting house or bring your own picnic lunch. The atmosphere is friendly and laid-back.
Hours of Operation
Open year-round, on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Open at 12 Noon and close at 6PM. Closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Closed on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day. Tasting Fee & Discounts: $6/person. Percentage discounts offered for purchase of four or more bottles of wine. Group Visits: For groups of 10 or more, please contact us by phone or e-mail at least three days in advance to make a reservation. Tasting fee is $10/person. Pre-payment for the entire group by one credit card is required. Souvenir glasses available for $4+tax/person.

Our 2011 vintage is offered in both dry and semi-sweet versions. Terrific floral aroma reminiscent of old fashioned roses and honeysuckle. Hints of apple flavor with a finish that tingles. Great with spicy cuisine such as Thai or Mexican, strong flavored cheeses or lots of garlic.

Our 2008 Cab was aged in French oak for 22 months. It has a distinctive peppery aroma and notes of tobacco and cassis. Full bodied, fruity and spicy. Our first Gold Medal winner from the 2011 Virginia Governor's Cup. An excellent choice with red meats and pasta dishes, or for sipping on its own.

Aged in oak for one year and blended with Petit Verdot (90% / 10%). The result is a beautiful inky blue and purple wine with a nose of plums and currents, a fruit forward palate, balanced by a peppery oak finish.

One of our most popular wines. Layers of cherry flavor, courtesy of Montmorency Cherries...the quintessential pie cherry. 4% residual sugar with a tart finish. Excellent with dark chocolate, almond pastries and pork dishes.
