About Hunting Creek Vineyards

We focus on achieving vine balance and attention to detail during harvest, fermentation and aging which allows us to produce quality wines. Current wines are a dry white wine, three dry reds, one mildly sweet red, and a white jalapeno wine. A Rose’ will be released in Dec 2011.Wines are made from viognier,merlot,cab franc,cab sauv,and petit verdot.We are a small farm winery and we welcome you to come for a free wine tasting.

Wines

White

Viognier

Pure Luck
This viognier is a crisp, fruity wine with a pear aroma. This is dry white wine that is light and easy to drink.

White Wine Blend

2009 Dare
Dare is a white wine with pepper aroma and a hint of "heat" from the jalapeno.

Red

Cabernet Franc

Repentance
This wine has 3% residual sugar and is a refreshing dessert wine with a satisfying blend of cranberry and cab franc.

Merlot

Indulgence
This wine is 75% merlot with 25% petit verdot. The blend of these two wines makes an elegant, smooth wine with a nice finish for those that enjoy a medium to full-bodied red wine.
Temptation
Our merlot clusters are large, rich, and deep in color. We use a light oak during aging to enhance the flavor of a beautiful grape that makes an excellent wine.

Petit Verdot

Decadence
This wine is 95% petit verdot with 5% viognier. The viognier enhances the aroma and softens the tannins of the petit verdot. We call this decadence since it pairs well with chocolate and is a very rich, round, and full-bodied wine.
