About Marterella Winery
Marterella Winery was shut down by court order on June 10, 2011 by Judge Parker in Virginia 20th District Circuit Court. An original bond of $5000 that was granted by Judge Parker that was required to be posted by April 12 was increased to $105,000. We were never able to enter the original bond due to no final order being entered by the plantiff. We are now closed to the general public and all signage on the highways and all internet postings were instructed to be removed and updated to reflect our closing. We are so very sad and dismayed.
