About Shenandoah Vineyards
Shenandoah Vineyards, founded in 1976, is Shenandoah Valley's oldest winery and is also the third oldest winery in Virginia. Award-winning wines made in the European tradition using modern techniques and. We have a wine for every palate and every occasion. The winery is in an old Civil War era barn. Come experience the tours and tastings of our wines, enjoy a picnic on the decks overlooking the vineyard and the beautiful Massanutten mountains, and shop in our unique wine-related gift shop.

Nov-Feb 10am-5pm daily, Mar - Oct, 10am - 6pm daily. Closed Thanksgiving, Christmas and January 1.

FOUNDER'S RESERVE CHARDONNAY
Fermented and aged in French Oak barrels, very dry and complex, golden yellow color. Aromas and flavors of honeyed, roasted pineapple, praline, and caramel apple lead to a silky, fruity medium to full body and a ripe, juicy well-balanced finish. A delicious and elegant chardonnay for all applications. Wnner of 91 points - Gold medal - and best Virginia white wine - from Bevrage Testing Institute - 2013.
Stainless fermented and aged, very dry with a crisp apple finish.
Fruity off dry Riesling with a crisp finish. Traditional for chicken, fish seafood and pork dishes, also great with hot spicy food. Winner of a Gold medal from 2013 International eastern wine competition.
White Wine Blend
Fruit flavors such as pear, peach and melon dominate this very well balanced medium dry white wine with a crisp finish.
Off-dry, fruity and delightful for sipping or to accompany light cheeses and your everyday meals. Our most popular wine for 34 years.

Ruby black color. Rustic aromas and flavors of tomatoes on the vine, baker's chocolate and spiced berries with a supple, very dry medium body, a shittake mushroom and twig forest floor finish. A racy, rustic red to pair with boar and grilled game. Winner of a gold medal in 2013 Virginia Governor's Cup competition.
Deep garnet charcoal color. Savory aromas of dried currant, herbs and spices with a dry yet fruity medium to full body, finishing with firm tannins and notes of mulberry, nutshell, earth and dried leaves. An earthy, Old-World style wine that is good with grilled steak and lamb.
Red Wine Blend
RHAPSODY IN RED
Blend of Chambourcin, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. This is a deep, rich red wine delightful to drink now, and can be aged for about five years. Winner of a GOLD medal in 2013 Governor's Cup Competition.
A red wine for white wine drinkers. Rebel Red is medium dry with very light tannins. A great picnic and barbecue wine.
Raspberry flavored red wine. This dessert wine is our sweetest, and it has a deep raspberry taste and a tart finish. Excellent with everything chocolate!
