About Stanburn Winery
Just like our vineyard, Stanburn Winery is a family adventure. For more than 10 years our family has owned and operated a 10-acre vineyard in rural, scenic Patrick County, Va. We now take our passion for growing grapes to bring you our wines bursting with flavor. We nurture four grape varieties including, Chardonnay, Traminette, Cabernet Franc, and planted Barbera in Arpil 2011. Since Stanburn Winery is a family owned winery, we combined our family names, Stanley and Burnette. Thanks for giving Stanburn Winery a try, and we hope you like it as much as we have enjoyed making it for you.

We are now open on every Saturday Noon-6pm and on Sunday 1-5pm from April-November.

Chardonnay
100% Chardonnay and is fermented in stainless steel, then finished in neutral oak barrels. This wine has a smooth texture with a light, crisp, and slightly fruity aroma. It pairs well with grilled seafood, poultry dishes and pineapple desserts.

Traminette

100% Traminette and is fermented in stainless steel, then finished in neutral oak barrels. It has a floral aroma with a light but distinctive flavor. The wine is finished semi-dry, with about 2% residual sugar which balances the acid. It pairs well with fruits, pastas with white sauces, and zesty recipes. Perfect on a hot summer afternoon.

Meadow Breeze
Our sweet white wine finished with 5% residual sugar, it is 100% Vidal fermented in stainless steel, aged in neutral oak. It is crisp and clean with flavors of melon, citrus and tropical fruits. It pairs well with light pasta dishes, seafood and soft to medium cheeses.

Bull's Blush
Cabernet Franc Rose, Chambourcin and Viognier blended together to create a sweet rosé fermented in stainless steel and finished in neutral oak. Light, yet fruity with hints of strawberries, pineapples, and apples. Pairs well with ham, pizza, spicy foods and angel food cakes with fruit. Great for picnics. It’s like summer in a bottle!

100% Cabernet Franc and is fermented in stainless steel, then finished in neutral oak barrels. This wine has a smooth texture with a mild essence of raspberries. It pairs well with Italian entrees, bold cheeses and chocolate desserts.

Chambourcin
100% fermented in stainless steel and finished in neutral oak. Bold and spicy with peppery flavor with hints of plums and cherries. This rich, deep velvety wine pairs well with BBQ, smoked meats, grilled steaks and dark chocolate covered strawberries.
