Three Fox Vineyards, a boutique winery nestles on 50 rolling acres in the heart of Northern Virginia’s horse country. Here, Proprietors Holli and John Todhunter have combined their passion for life, wine, and Italy to bring a little of La Dolce Vita to Virginia. Come sample award winning wines from unique Italian estate varieties such as Sangiovese (red and also as a rosé), Nebbiolo, and Pinot Grigio as well as Chardonnay, Viognier, Vidal, Merlot, Cab Franc, and Chambourcin (done as a port alternative). Bring a picnic and relax in a setting reminiscent of Tuscany— outside on the patios, in the meadow (with “wine-mobile” service), or on one of many other scenic spots on the property. Three Fox is located in Delaplane, Va., Exit 23 just off Route 66 just 40 minutes from the Washington “beltway”.
