Tomahawk Mill Winery is located in a 121 year old grist mill built by an exceptional gentleman who served as a Confederate soldier in Pickets Brigade. This mill operated for 100 years before closing in 1980. Shortly thereafter, a vineyard was planted on the hill above the mill and the start of a winery was installed in two silos which were storage units for grain at the mill. Since that time the winery has been upgraded to a small state of the art operation producing 13 quality wines. Our tasting room is in the mill which is being slowly restored. Come and enjoy the beauty and history which accompanies this place. Taste our wines and enjoy a picnic by the restored pond and mill dam.
