The folks at Wolf Gap Vineyard are dedicated to producing perfect grapes, hand nurtured to produce the best quality wine possible year in and year out. We have chosen to make small batches of wine in order to provide the care and attention needed to produce truly superior wines rarely found in larger mass production wineries. Mar - Nov, Mon - Sat 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. Sun - 1pm - 6pm; Winter hours Dec - Feb: Please call ahead or check our website to ensure availability. We sometimes close down for a period in the winter for vacation.

Chardonnay

2011 Chardonnay
A most delicious Chardonnay, full of pristine flavors of pear and apricot. No sugar, no butter, and just a hint of oak brings out the honest-to-goodness great taste of the chardonnay grape.

Traminette

2012 Semi-sweet Traminette
This exciting German-style white wine is full of spice and citrus flavors enhanced and balanced by a touch of sweetness. Will pair well with herbal cheeses and German food such as pork and kraut. Also a great picnic wine served with fried chicken or cold cuts. Available after April 15, 2013

2011 Viognier-Traminette
This blend of an aromatic French wine and a spicy German-style wine translates into an exciting, fruity white wine that makes a great appetizer wine perfect paired with chicken or fish.

2011 Lobo Loco
Sparkling Rosé. A rich blend of red and white wines producing a delicate and fruity appetizer wine with a hint of sweetness. A true "tailgating wine" as it pairs so well with brats, burgers, brisket and BBQ (the four basic valley food groups). Have fun with this one.

Cabernet Franc

2007 2007 Cabernet Franc
This delicious award-winning Cab Franc tastes remarkably like a fine Argentine malbec, full of exotic fruit flavors melding with the traditional Cab Franc peppery finish. This is a classic. Don't miss it. Serve with meat, pizza or Barbeque. Better yet drink it with a close friend.
2007 Cab Franc Reserve
We identified an exceptional segment of our 2007 Cabernet Franc harvest to process as a Reserve wine and aged that wine 18 months in oak barrels and another 2.5 years in the cellar for a total of four years before releasing it last year. This ultra smooth Cab Franc will delight the most discriminating Bordeaux red wine lover. Pair with the best steak in the market. Savor with a close friend.

Chambourcin

2009 2009 Chambourcin
This delicious red wine is reminiscent of our award winning 2006 Chambourcin, brimming with plum and cherry fruit interlaced with a smoky nose and finish. Unbelievably balanced and smooth. Pair with a mixed grill platter or spicy marinara Italian fare. You'll want to buy a case of this rich red wine.
2011 Chambourcin Bleu
In an attempt to create a new niche for some of the bountiful chambourcin harvest of 2011, Wolf Gap Willie came up with a new recipe that enhances and balances this delicious wine. The result is a lightly oaked dark red wine laced with a hint of sweetness and blueberry. Serve at room temperature or chilled. Pair with a rack of lamb. Unforgettable. Available after April 15, 2013.

Meritage Blends

2009 2009 Mariage
We blended our 2009 Chambourcin with our 2009 dark red, full-bodied Cabernet Franc to create the most balanced red blend with rich fruit and smoke-laced finish. Pair this with red meat or zesty Italian.
2008 2008 Chamerlot Reserve
The epitome of a full-bodied, dark red wine with abundant plum and cherry accents. This blend of Merlot and Chambourcin will surprise you with the dark purple color and complex flavors. Smoky finish. Limited quantities.

2011 Blueberry Wine
This 100% blueberry wine was processed as a great red wine resulting in a delicious semi-sweet fruit wine, great as a before-dinner, back porch "sipper" or after dinner paired with cheese cake or dark chocolate. Yummy!
