“The 2nd Annual Tropical New Year’s Party – Glow Out!”
Join the Charlottesville Salsa Club dancing in the New Year surrounded by a tropical garden. Last year’s party was steamy! This year is going to be lit!
We’ll be surrounded by tropical plants, plus we’re adding black lights and decorations this year!! It’s going to be a Tropical Glow-Out!
Dress in all white, floral fancy, anything tropical or black light reactive. Prizes will be awarded to the “Glowiest” and the “Most Tropical”
We are very excited that this year’s net proceeds will be donated to The Women’s Initiative. “The mission of The Women’s Initiative is to provide women with effective counseling, social support and education so they can transform life challenges into positive change and growth.” Read more about this important, local nonprofit organization: http://thewomensinitiative.org/
Your $10 donation includes a floral headband and lei and glow sticks and a super fun NYE’s Party!

An introductory Latin social dancing lesson will be provided by, Carolyn and Brandon ,our expert instructors. Afterwards, DJ Butchata will play a tropical music mix that will have everyone dancing all night through the midnight “Welcome 2019 Music Mashup!”
The Sombrero's food truck will be serving delicious Mexican cuisine starting at 9:00pm. You can also bring your own snacks or purchase gourmet cheeses, spreads, meats, and crackers at the GHW.
No outside alcohol is allowed; sodas, wines and champagne available to purchase at the GHW.
