"Diwali", The Festival of Lights Celebration at Narmada Winery is Saturday, October 19, 2019 from 5 PM - 8 PM. Come celebrate with us! After the harvest in ancient India, the Festival of Lights, or Diwali, marked the end of the agrarian year. As a farmer in Virginia, Sudha keeps the tradition alive every fall now in Amissville. Diwali has come to symbolize our own "inner light", the idea that we can all radiate peace and joy and have a positive impact on the events swirling around us.
Narmada will offer Indian dinner platters available between 5 PM - 7 PM for $25.00. Vegetarian and non-vegetarian options are available. Antipasto and cheese platters are also available at $18.00 each. ALL FOOD MUST BE PRE-ORDERED. To order tickets, contact the winery at 540-937-8215 or email jim@narmadawinery.com. There will be a $10.00 cover charge at the door for everyone.
NO TASTINGS will be done during Diwali. Only bottle or glass sales. Wine Club members will have reserved seating on the deck as space permits. The bonfire and fireworks will begin at dusk.
