Barrel Tasting (and tank tastes, too)
Join us Saturday, February 1 at 8 Chains North Winery in Waterford for a preview tasting of our 2022 vintage red and 2024 vintage white wines. Led by owner, Edz Sturans, participants will taste wines from barrel and tank that we are preparing to bottle in March. The Barrel Tasting is conducted in the Production area and lasts about an hour.
- Sample six wines we'll bottle in early March. We will taste 2024 vintage whites straight from our stainless steel tanks. We will choose 2022 vintage reds from a variety of new, neutral, French, and American barrels.
- During the tasting, enjoy a nosh from our delicious charcuterie table.
- Learn About the 2024 Vintage and Harvest. Edz and staff will give a summary of the 2024 season, the status of our vineyards and harvest yields, the fruit we source for the 8 Chains North West brand, and answer your questions about the growing season.
- All participants must be at least 21 years of age. Sorry, no pets allowed.
