Join us for a fun, interactive tasting experience with Somm Sara Gann as she guides us through a year of wine. This tasting will give basic knowledge of the chemistry of wine, including the alcohol fermentation process, what components make up grape must, and the composition of wine. We will learn how the chemicals that make up grapes and wine affect a finished wine’s taste and structure. We’ll taste several Petit Mansengs made in various styles (including a sample pulled from our first barrel), as a well as a Tannat from Uruguay.
