Join us at Walsh Family Winery for the fifth evening of our 2022 Summer Concert Series. We are excited to host Kevin Knight as he performs a set of original songs and musical covers in his signature experimental-folk style. Knight's music explores elements of folk, cosmic country, psychedelic rock, fuzz pop, and American primitive. Enjoy a relaxing performance in our tasting room, and raise a glass of Loudoun County wine with old friends and new faces alike.
Kevin Knight is a multi-Instrumentalist, singer-songwriter & recording artist currently based in Boyce, Virginia. He's been writing and recording music since the age of15. Knight began his career in Richmond playing in coffee shops, club venues, and house shows and spent a few years in his mid to late 20s playing keyboards and touring globally with then Brooklyn-based dream pop band, Wild Nothing. Knight independently released 7 full length Albums and 10 EPs, and he has 1 album, 2018’s “With Hat” which was released through NY based indie label Furious Hooves.
Some of knight's biggest influences are Blaze Foley, Gram Parsons, Bill Callahan, Will Oldham, John Prine, Townes Van Zandt, Neil Young, The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Talking Heads, Jonathan Richman, The Velvet Underground, Mt. Eerie, & Arthur Russell.
