All old souls who channel the likes of Hank Williams, Bob Wills, and other swingin' greats from the 1940s and 1950s. They play a great mix of 1940s/50s rockabilly and vintage country, western swing, bluegrass, surf instrumentals, and Wayne's excellent originals in the same styles.
The band is:
Brandon Wayne (guitar, banjo, vocals)
Michael Smith III, aka Crazy Cousin Jimbo, (actual cousin on rhythm guitar, sunglasses)
Matias Camino (Earlysville resident, upright bass, Argentine tango soul, veteran rockabilly slapper)
Charles Arthur, aka Speedy East, veteran multi-instrumentalist from Richmond (part time on pedal steel, drums, mandolin, banjo, etc. etc.)
Salty Bottom Blue Mobile Oyster Bar featuring fresh grilled oysters and raw oysters on the half-shell. Salty Bottom Blue farms Chesapeake Bay oysters. Their innovative sustainable aquaculture techniques produce a dependable supply of fresh-tasting, salty local oysters raised in mid-bay waters. Foot long hot dogs also available.
