Two Up Wine Down is an inclusive community focused Virginia wine festival shining a spotlight on BIPOC wine professionals, enthusiasts, and allies.
The name is an homage to our incredible Commonwealth, Virginia (Two Up, Two Down).
The festival will take place the city's center of Black culture and resilience, the Jefferson School African American Heritage Center, in downtown Charlottesville, Virginia, on Sunday, October 23rd from 3-6pm. ALL are welcome! 21+ to drink.
The outdoor tented festival will feature Oenoverse Club hosts and members of the Veraison Project pouring tastings of their favorite Virginia wines while sharing their perspectives and conversation with guests.
Comfy picnic vibes provided by Just Be Picnic. DJ Double U on the ones and twos. Royalty Eats & Vegan Comforts will be cooking food for the soul. What else could you want on a Sunday afternoon?
Tasting tickets are $15 until October 1st when they increase to $20. Tickets are $25 at the door, and include a complimentary souvenir wine glass and a tasting of these incredible Virginia wines.
All wines are available for sale by the glass or bottle for on-site and off-premise enjoyment!
Food offerings are available for purchase separate from the tasting cost.

What is Oenoverse?
Oenoverse [ee-nuh-verse] is a movement towards building equity, ownership, inclusion, and diversity within Virginia wine through the channels of conversation and community.
