All AmRhein's sangrias are handmade, hand bottled monthly, hand corked and hand labeled...a labor of love!

Vintage Notes

The recipe for our red and white sangria is a closely guarded secret and took years to find the perfect recipe. This wine must be kept in the refrigerator and can last up to 3 months if kept chilled. All our Sangrias are made and bottled by hand at the winery.

Wine Making

What we can tell you is the base wine of our white sangria is Traminette, blended with fresh juices and carbonation. The result is a refreshing treat featuring tropical and citrus flavors. The base wine of our red sangria is Petit Verdot.

Tasting Notes and Food Pairings

This sangria is perfect for parties, receptions, or brunch. We enjoy it mostly on Saturday morning with a vegetable omelet for brunch. You may even enjoy it mixed with your favorite spirit. We have many tell us that we have the best Sangria in Virginia Wine Country, but you can be the judge of that!
