Virginia’s “Little Burgundy”...
Ankida Ridge - The Vrooman Family Farm & Vineyard is a family-run, micro-boutique vineyard, farm and winery located in Amherst County at 1800 feet on the eastern slope of the Blue Ridge Mountains. We grow exclusively Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. With our first vintage in 2010, we received international acclaim for our elegant, Burgundian style wines. On our low-vigor, granite soils, we practice sustainable, environmentally sensitive viticulture that offers our wines a true sense of place.

A second label of wines, "Rockgarden," is produced on site by our winemaker, Nathan Vrooman, from grapes purchased from area vineyards. These hand-crafted wines are also receiving high praise.

Strictly limited in production, our wines are highly sought after and can be enjoyed at select area restaurants (see website) or purchased at the winery, online or at Early Mountain Vineyards, Madison, VA, where we are a partner in the "Best of Virginia" program.
