Petit Verdot

91% Petit Verdot, 9% Cabernet Sauvignon.

Our 2019 Petit Verdot is our perfect winter wine, showing rich black raspberry and black cherry, vanilla, cocoa, and coffee notes. The palate is full-flavored and structured, with a lovely balance of bright dark fruit and integrated oak. When the snow starts falling, this is what we’re going to have in our glass.

The fruit was hand-harvested in October 2019 in Loudoun County. Barrel-aged 16 months in 27% new French oak. Bottled April 2021, 261 cases.
