Silver Doctor

This latest release of the 1607 brand is an archetypal expression of Virginia Petit Verdot. The 2013 Silver Doctor displays complex aromas of dried blackberries, burnt cedar, tobacco, espresso, and eucalyptus. On the palate flavors of black raspberry, mulberry, red currants, plum and black pepper are accentuated by fine tannins and well embedded acidity. The lengthy finish begs to be paired with beef, rack of lamb, or venison.
