Little Washington Winery and Brewery is tucked right into the sweet spot of Virginia Wine Country 60 miles west of Washington DC at the Thornton Gap entrance to Shenandoah National Park.
We handcraft old world style artisan wines from our estate vines and from some of the most coveted vineyards in the state of Virginia. We typically produce 8-10 different wines per year.
New for 2021 - We have a new Tasting Room! And we have added a brewery to the fun! Now you can choose from 5 flight adventures when you visit!
We have this goal to perfect 1 bottle of wine before we die - we call it George. George is a Meritage Blend. We also make naked and oaked Chardonnays, a dry Viognier, Rose, Merlot and Cab Franc.
Along with our own wines we feature 3 wines every week that are not ours on our tasting bar. They are the most incredible wines you'll never find without us!
Walk-in tastings happen 11am to 5pm Thursday - Monday at our 3 tasting rooms.
Have you been doing our Foodie-U Wine ed classes and Beer School? We do fun classes every weekend. It's unpretentious small group learning with our winemakers, brewmaster and sommelier. Straight talk in plain English all about enjoying food & beer & wine!
