Abyss is a blend of Chambourcin, Norton, and Marechal Foch. Chambourcin and Foch, both French hybrid are blended with Norton, an American hybrid cultivated here in Richmond by Dr. Daniel Norborne Norton, interact beautifully to provide a dark, smooth, medium bodied red wine. The cherry/berry aromas entangle with a spicy finish often associated with Norton. Abyss wines can be served with red sauce pastas or even pizza..........$18.
