America 250 Series: An Evening with Lucie Morton

Join us for a special evening with Lucie Morton, one of the most influential figures in American viticulture, a pioneering force behind the success of Virginia wine, and Pollak Vineyards' longtime vineyard consultant.

Widely regarded as one of the country's foremost experts in viticulture and ampelography, the identification and classification of grapevines, she has advised vineyard owners throughout the United States and around the world, helping establish many of Virginia's most respected vineyard sites.

After becoming the first American woman to study viticulture at France's prestigious École Nationale Supérieure Agronomique in Montpellier, Lucie dedicated her career to understanding the relationship between vine, soil, climate, and place.

As part of our America 250 celebration series, Lucie will share stories from a lifetime spent studying and guests will gain a deeper understanding of Virginia's rise as a world-class wine region.

The ticket price includes a curated flight of 4 of our estate grown wines and a boxed meal from Greenwood Grocery. Preference for your meal type must be submitted by 5pm on Wednesday, July 15.
