2019 was our first harvest of Golden Russet. To say that we are excited to share this single varietal with the world is an understatement.
Some facts about Golden Russet:
- first recorded in the 1700s in New York
- only moderately resistant to major apple diseases (so every apple is precious!)
- this medium sized apple is fully russeted and has a fine-grained yellow flesh
- it is chock full of sugar and can be eaten out of hand but we make them all into cider!
Come try something new. Draft in the taproom and bottles to go :)
