Red Hill is a local community, and former rail depot, where apples from area
orchards were shipped to markets across the country and
abroad. This farmstead style cider is a 50/50 blend of apples
historically grown in the area, primarily the Albemarle Pippin
and Winesap, and a mix of high tannin apples.
Flavor: Fruity with notes of tart strawberry and kiwi. White
grape and melon on the nose. Birch bark finish.
Food Pairings: Ham biscuits; bruschetta; avocado salad; Thanksgiving dinner
