The appearance is ruby with a brickish rim. The nose reveals red fruit: strawberry, cranberry, craisin and rhubarb. Tomato, lycopene, balsamic vinegar, orange zest, violet rose and sandalwood persist. The palate reveals red fruit, brambly fruit. There is an oxidation to the fruit. Tomato, tomato leaf and cranberry persist in the finish. Sage and rosemary give subtle hints in the finish, as well.
