Equation Red

The name Equation refers to the balance between maintaining the top quality of fine red blend from Virginia, and yet making this an affordable wine for every day drinking. Equation Red pairs wonderfully with food, and is soft enough to be approachable to a variety of levels of palate sophistication. This wine is a non-vintage blend. That means the grapes that were used came from different vintage years.

Tasting Notes:

Color: Garnet

Aromas: Ripe cherry, plum, chocolate

Taste: Juicy fruit, baking spices such as clove and nutmeg, medium plus body, lingering dusty tannins

Food pairing: This Equation can stand up to strong flavors and textures, like grilled flank steak, sauteed mushrooms, truffle oil, and aged or blue cheeses
