Grandpa's Wild Orange

This Mead is a blend of four parts Orange blossom honey and one part wildflower honey from Central Florida. Founding owner, Robert Higgins,"Grandpa", took a test bottle home, drank the whole thing, and called Ed the manager telling him the Mead had to be called Wild Orange! This mead starts out with the flavor of the orange honey but finishes with a burst of citrus from the wildflower honey. Grandpa has since passed from agent orange related cancer, and so the front label has a representation of the Vietnam Service Ribbon, and his photo is on the back.
