A lighter-bodied Petit Verdot, the grapes for this wine came from one of the last vintages from Highland Orchard Farm & Vineyard. The wine was aged in French oak for 15 months to increase the depth & complexity. The toast on the barrels is evident in both the nose and flavors of our beautifully hued Petit Verdot. Flavors of just ripened blackberry refresh the palate in this tannin-forward wine. It is great for drinking now and pairs incredibly well with juicy burgers or a rich beef stew.
