Rocky Row Red

A dark and rich, smooth red blend with easy tannins, medium oak and a soft finish. A full-bodied wine from a combination of primarily Syrah and Merlot grapes with intense flavors of black cherry and plum, with hints of vanilla and tobacco. Pairs well with beef, lamb, venison, and pasta with red sauces.
A wine aptly named for the origins of one of the cabins serving as part of the Burnbrae Vineyards tasting room which was preserved by transporting it in 1949 to Burnbrae from its location along Rocky Row Run within the beautiful James River Gorge area and nearby to the Appalachian Trail James River Foot Bridge. Take a trail hike then stop by the Burnbrae Vineyards tasting room to enjoy a bottle of Rocky Row Red!
