Silver Medal Governor’s Cup 2024 - A ruby red medium to light bodied wine with soft, silky tannins and moderate acidity ripe dark berry notes with a hint of spice and subtle floral. On the palate there are ripe raspberry and black cherry with some green herbal notes and a touch of smokiness. A very versatile, food friendly wine that goes well with grilled and roasted meats ranging from grilled lamb to barbecued or roasted chicken, mushroom based dishes like mushroom risotto, red-sauced pastas and even dark chocolate dessert.
