Sangiovese

Our second vintage of this dry, earthy wine with a mellow smokiness was aged 19 months in French oak and cries out to be paired with heavy Italian meals, barbecue or hearty game dishes like venison. With a garnet hue, the rich bouquet offers aromas of black cherry, leather and a smoky earthiness. The oak balance and smooth tannins support tastes of dark cherry, tobacco, cigar box and leather, leaving a smooth, lingering finish. This wine is an old world, Chianti Classico style wine.
