Glen Manor Vineyards is located in Virginia approximately 70 miles west of Washington D.C., situated on a western flank of the Blue Ridge mountains. The surrounding mountains, ranging between 1400 and 3400 feet in elevation, form a Glen which gives the vineyards a unique environment: A world of its own. The vines grow high on very steep mountain slopes characterized by deep, well-draining, and rocky soils.
Today, the estate comprises 226 acres of pastures, forests, and currently 18 acres of vineyards. It is surrounded by neighboring farms and mountain forests, and we share a common border with Shenandoah National Park to the east. Our farm is recognized by the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Century Farm for being owned and farmed by four generations of our family for over 100 years.
Tastings take place at our tasting counter - $25 for six wines.
We are unable to accommodate limousines, buses or groups larger than four.
We do not provide any food, but you are welcome to enjoy your own food from home - please pack out any trash and take it home with you.
