These varietals are grown in our north field above the Tasting Room and are the three main grapes that make up a Bordeaux blend. This ‘field blend’ is harvested mid-October and the grapes are fermented together from the start, then age for 18 months in French oak barrels. The results are a medium-style red, not too dry, and suitable for all wine drinkers. Pairs amazingly with the classics: spaghetti bolognese or lasagne and a side of grilled veggies.
