Petit Verdot

Petit Verdot

Grown in our front field amidst the panoramic backdrop, Petit Verdot is one of the main varietals grown in Bordeaux, France, and is highly recommended for Virginia’s terroir. The grapes are typically harvested in October, then fermented and aged 24 months in French oak barrels. The results are a fruit-forward & earthy wine with hints of blueberries and fennel.

A comforting wine that pairs nicely with Cassoulet, beef stews, or any earthy & herbal dish.
