Fer Servadou

Grown in our west field past the old stone wall, a rare varietal originating from the Gaillac region in Southwest France, and is a top recommended grape varietal to grow in Virginia. The grapes are typically harvested early
November, then fermented and aged 18 months in French oak barrels. The results are subtle notes of spice and berry flavors with an earthy mid-palate. Textured tannins and a balanced structure make for a perfect complement to beef or while you grill it.
