Ruby

These varietals are a blend of the top 3 grapes recommended for the Virginia climate and grown in our front and west fields. The grapes are typically harvested in late October | mid-November, then aged 24 months in French oak barrels. The fruit-forward intensity from the Tannat & Petit Verdot, and an earthy mid-palate from the Fer Servadou, give the wine great tannins, structure, and flavor. Ruby is a full-bodied, tannic red wine with a supple nose of cocoa, white pepper, and dried cherry and an extended finish. Ruby is excellent with red meat and game, however Mom still likes it best with dark chocolate.

Tannat 50%, Fer Servadou 30%, Petit Verdot 20%.
