JBR Vineyards & Winery

At an elevation of 1800 feet in the mountains of Giles County in Southwest Virginia, JBR Vineyards & Winery passionately produces small quantities of hand-tended classic wine grapes and hand-crafted wines. We are proud to have established the first vineyard and first Virginia Farm Winery in Giles County.

JBR Vineyards is a continuation of Jessee Ring's lifelong interest in wine. The first trial planting of the vineyard was done in 2006, expanded in 2009, and again in 2016. In 2014, JBR Vineyards became licensed as a Virginia Farm Winery. In 2019, Jessee received his certificate in Winemaking from the University of California, Davis. We are members of the Virginia Vineyards Association (VVA) and the Virginia Wineries Association (VWA)

Our grapes are locally grown and the wines are locally produced and locally bottled.
