Cabernet Sauvignon Estate Reserve

Dark Ruby red in color, with perhaps some purple tones. Beautifully extracted, showing no signs of sediment.

The nose is beautifully fragrant and floral with sweet ripe berries, violets, dried herbs, cedar, and pencil shavings. Beautifully complex and intricate and ever changing which is to be expected from a young wine. With some aeration, the shows a touch of leather or pipe tobacco.

The wine shows lovely acidity on the front before transitioning to the mid and back palate, showing ample tannins that are supple and silky. This wine has plenty of fruit, dominated by plum, black and boysenberry. The finish is long and drying that suggests this wine needs a few more years in the bottle to fully integrate.

This is not a massively extracted wine, it showcases more elegance and restraint and is perhaps more reminiscent of an Old-World version.
