The nose is a mélange of dried pineapple, yellow fruits, honey and subtle hints of spice. Sweetness certainly drives the palate, but there is a healthy amount of acidity that keeps the wine light on its feet without the wine becoming too oily or sweet. The oak is subtle, but imparts a weight and creaminess on the back end of the finish. This is a wine that is approachable in its youth, but may also be put in the cellar to develop a few more years. Serve cold and in 2oz to 3oz pours.
