30% Chardonnay 30% Viognier 20% Vidal Blanc 10% Traminette 10% Verdejo
The wine has a beautiful golden yellow color to it. The nose is intensely aromatic with primary notes of yellow fruits [dried apricots and pineapples], floral tones and just a touch of baking spices. After some aeration you get a touch of citrus, minerality and flint.
The palate is rich and unctuous, but it possesses a vibrant acidity. There is a beautiful core of fruit and spice with enough body and tannin resulting in a wine that is quite lengthy.
A wine that will almost certainly demand a further year or two in the bottle, beautifully complex and layered, this is by far the best Trevillian white wine we have produced to date.
