Opening with notes of hawthorn and sandalwood, this wine is a balance between expression of terroir and delicate oak aging. A rich nuttiness and fresh lemongrass character are carried through a long finish by the elegant structure and acidity. Aged for 9 months in French oak barrels with full malolactic fermentation. Aging is done on the lees with weekly batonnage. Barrels: 25% new oak, 25% 1 year old, 25% 2 years old and 25% 3 years old.
