Our Virginia Solstice Chardonnay has been barrel aged in mature French oak and the influence of this elegant style is apparent from the moment the wine coats your palate. Lush and round with complex, intense fruit aromas of apple, pear and tropical fruit including pineapple, melon and maybe even a hint of banana integrate with vanilla, spice, smoke and toast flavors for a long enunciated finish. Our oh so vigilant cellar master ensures oak does not overpower the fruit and the entire experience is harmonious.
